Lviv Mathematical Society

The modern Lviv Mathematical Society continues the traditions of the society founded in Lviv in 1917 and traces its history to 1989, two years before Ukraine declared independence.

Specialized seminars at the city's academic institutions became more active, and international cooperation began to develop, laying the groundwork for large-scale national and international conferences in Lviv.
